Okay, this post should really be titled "THERE WAS SWEAT," but that just doesn't have the same ring to it, so... :D Hey, I'm easily amused - I admit it! ;}
In other words, I finally got back on the Elliptical and went for 48 minutes (and 4.8 miles)!! Yeah, I was nice and sweaty (and red-faced) after that, and boy did it feel good! It's been a good three weeks since I've felt up do doing any exercising -- I'll probably feel it tomorrow...
I had 1621 calories today, with 134 oz. water as well as my morning coffee. I'm rather astonished at how quickly I've gotten used to drinking so much water! It's been maybe a week and a half, and I still get a bit surprised when reach the end of 32-oz or even a 40-oz "glass" of water, and it feels like I just got back from filling it up! I definitely think it's helping with the weight loss, but it will be nice when I can "get used to" running to the bathroom all the time!
Your body will adjust to the water intake. Just keep being patient with it. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you. I love the elliptical! 130 pounds ago I couldn't keep it moving for 20 seconds..now I can rock that thing for over an hour. It makes me feel like Rocky. ;)

I love the elliptical, I feel like I get a better workout than with the treadmill AND no knee pain whatsoever. Sounds like you got an awesome workout!!
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of elliptical at the gym and I have yet been able to use them for more then 5 minutes. I just can not get the rhythm. I have to give it a try again next week.
