I haven't even finished all of my last spaghetti squash, and the next one is already baked, scraped and in the fridge, not to mention already a part of my already packed lunch for tomorrow. Yaay, me!
*Sigh...* I'm not healthy yet. :P I'm lucky that I'm able to work from home if I need to, and that's what I did today. I probably shouldn't have gone in yesterday, but after being off for two whole weeks, I kinda felt like I needed to go in. I think the Neti Pot, Sudafed and Mucinex (which, by the way, tastes AWFUL!!!) are helping. Some. Hopefully. I'm just sick of being sick! (I think I've read that somewhere else out there in bloggerville, recently...)
Foodwise it was a decent day: 1307 calories. No exercise - not up to it yet. I'm looking forward to getting back to it, though -- hopefully before/by the weekend.
Fluidwise, it was a fantastic day: 96 ounces of water, a large glass of V8, 2 mugs of tea and my usual mug of coffee in the morning. So a total of 148 oz of fluids today! I know a lot of you are used to that amount by now, but it's definitely a first for me... I usually have a hard time with fluids when I'm at home, but I had a 48 oz cup that I filled twice, and added a Crystal Light On-The-Go pack to each cup. Speaking of which, I gotta go pee... And then go to bed!
Way to go on all the fluids!!! Feel better!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon!!! and awesome job on calories and fluids!!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd be floating away with that much liquid : ) And from yesterday - g'luck with the bike ride, how very cool! Just be safe out there on your training! Think retroreflective vest. I'd recommend a ride around the lake when you work up to it, I think it's about 13 miles; not too hilly, but there's a wide shoulder and the scenery's nice.
ReplyDeleteAwww, I hope you feel better soon!! I've got a cough that just can't take a hint no matter how much mucinex I down! I'm baking a spaghetti squash tomorrow too :) I'm still trying to get used to the consistency compared to regular noodles, but 210 vs under 50 calories a serving? I'll learn!
